"Weakist nonsense" knows no limits of pretension. A lump of irrelevant waffle found in a comment section:
"You don't seem to understand his point. He's discussing the shift from practical achievement to paper achievement: "honor" as a value arising from direct effort and engagement with others for common purpose toward a concrete end, versus honor defined as personal academic achievement in abstracted problem spaces. The former is social, the latter statistical. Observe how serviceable academia has been for Woke ideologues to see the results: systemic mistrust and suspicion fomenting an activist posture of negation and resentment."
Although the writer decries "Woke ideologues", he/she is spouting pretentious prolix typical of self-impressed "weakists" who eschew plain, fact-based language. Clearly, the writer fails to understand the traditional meaning of honor.
